I am an accomplished global events specialist and project manager experienced in end-to-end management and on-site delivery of international events from 20-3000 guests C-Level and above in the finance, banking, energy and science industries.

 

Leading and delivering global event strategies involving intimate HNW client dinners with budgets of £2-5k to FTSE 100 attended conferences, hospitality, networking dinners and awards shows in finance, banking, energy and science, reconciling budgets exceeding £2m. Technically minded with hands on experience in AV production, digital marketing, video editing and use of virtual event platforms such as Open Exchange, Zoom, Cvent and ON24.

 

I also own and manage Film4Life Productions in my spare time. Through this business I shoot and edit brand promotional films for small businesses and corporate clients as well as wedding films using the Adobe Creative Suite

EY Entrepreneur Of The Year UK Final Award Show

I was proud to be part of a team in producing this opening sequence for EY's Entrepreneur Of The Year UK Final award show.

 

The event itself celebrated the UK's leading entrepreneurs from various industries competing in regional heats that led to the UK final held at The Brewery, London.

 

The theme was "accelerating growth" where we recognised entrepreneurs were a huge contributer to the UK's accelerating economy.

 

This sequence opened the show and takes us on a journey through an energetic and immersive accelerator machine.

  • Complete ownership in planning, marketing, branding, communications, AV and creative production for UHNW client events held at the National Gallery.

  • Implemented a self portrait idea to drive employee engagement for the arts sponsorship by running a firm wide competition which was supported by the MD for the Culture and D&I team.

GRANT THORNTON

  • Event lead for Growth 365 client events, a premium service from Grant Thornton for mid market clients with a turnover of £10m to £250m

  • Organised logistics for events ranging from 10 to 300 attendees, including sourcing venues, invitations, registrations and RSVPs, catering, speakers, branding and promotion

  • Produced accurate cost estimates for internal stakeholders whilst achieving sales targets. Client retention stayed at 95% during my role with a total income of approx. £400k from successfully delivering client satisfaction events.

  • Responsible for the implementation of event strategies, managing our affinity partnerships with Aston Martin and Bremont watches and delivering circa 60 events per year across the UK

2011-2017

Senior Events Executive - Production

  • Successful project and event management of over 20 events every year (physical and virtual), including the EY Entrepreneur Of The Year awards ceremonies, high end client entertaining/hospitality and various partnership art events with the Tate (circa 100-800 attendees per event across London and UK)

  • Solely responsible for the event production of UK Major Events of high value (£100k+) and risk

  • Creative design and management of EY’s Entrepreneur Of The Year client events (circa 10 events with 20-150 attendees) including FTSE100 clients and the UK’s leading entrepreneurs

  • Personally created the Entrepreneur Of The Year marketing launch films for 3 years running (see Projects section)

  • Used creative and technical expertise in order to contribute to proven budget negotiations and managed budgets in excess of £500k
